Basics

Protecting all employees and visitors’ well-being is the most important responsibility we share at Dow Aero (“Company”).

Every employee, including contractors, has the responsibility to contribute to a safe work environment with abiding by Company policies and procedures while using safe and common-sense practices when performing job duties. Employees conducting job-related duties outside Company premises shall also be aware and comply with any rules set by the job-site operator.

Additionally, employees are responsible for notifying their superior or the Company’s Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) department when health or safety issues are present; it is never enough to assume that management or the Company’s EHS department is aware of a problem. To ensure maximum safety for employees, visitors, and our surrounding communities, employees are encouraged to suggest improvements and contribute to advancing our health and safety efforts when and where appropriate. In an emergency, employees shall notify appropriate emergency personnel by dialing 911. Again, employees should consult with proper management or the Company’s Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) department with other health or safety questions, concerns, and issues.

The Company’s Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) department is determined to maintain a safe working environment while verifying that safe practices are occurring throughout every location and site our employees operate within, through the measures of:
